Ben and I had the pleasure of helping play group regular and girlfriend #4 #5 #67, the lovely and talented Charlotte, celebrate her first birthday last Saturday. Charlotte will be spending her actual first in Vancouver where her mom is from, but had a Wichita party last weekend. Ryan was in the hip-hop metropolis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for work so he missed out on the fun. Ben dominated Charlotte's pink pool and would have probably been happy to stay there forever as long as someone brought him food from time to time. Charlotte's Mama made delicious cupcakes and it seemed all the kiddos had a great time playing in the water and snacking. Charlotte doesn't know I got an amazing present from her birthday party.......Ben took a 3.5 hour nap! Thanks Charley and Happy Birthday!!
