During our date to the WOW museum, friends Jess and Wyatt told us about their morning ritual of a green monster smoothie. In order for Ben and I to try it, Ben had to first try peanut butter. The once strictly forbidden until 2 years of age+ food is now being allowed into kiddo diets much earlier. After some independent research, word from our Dr., and a green-light of agreement from DaDa, we gave it a go.

While Ben is still not thrilled with the melty goodness of peanut butter toast, he LOVES his green monsters. We switch up Chia Seeds and flax for our boost and I can't imagine a healthier way to start the day. I've been drinking less coffee with the added energy and stressing lots less knowing my Monkey is getting a heaping serving of spinach and other goodies to start the day. While it won't replace leafy greens in his diet, it's nice knowing it's a battle I can let go without worry that he's not getting proper nutrition.
As for the laundry.................
I tried to help him get every last sip from his cup and then I let him try on his own ;)
I bet that pb toast will become a fave in no time. And yay for green monster yumminess!
